When founding J Brand in 2004, Jeff Rudes, who had pioneered the French jeans boom in the states, set off to create classic and sophisticated jeans with an emphasis on their fit. He launched the brand as an exclusive line at Ron Herman's Melmose jean bar in Spring 2005, reaching an immediate success with consumers, notable celebrities and influential editors.
Starting with its signature dark washed skinny jean and launching later the bell bottom “Love Story”, J Brand keeps setting trend after trend.
